Perfect table arrangements

1. Let your imagination run riot. For instance: tall candelabras, gothic arrangements with velvety red amaryllis, low decorations such as baskets, fruit in containers, coloured vases with glitter, collections of mini vases or even exotic plants such as orchids.

2. Consider using a mirrored disc on each table. Place your table arrangement on the mirror and add candles to add a romantic flicker. Square mirror boxes can make the table look bigger by reflecting from all angles.

3. Good lighting sets the atmosphere and will highlight your flowers as well as any other decorations. Place candles on mantelpieces and in fire grates. Try dimming the main lights and placing candles on each table to create warm pools of light around the room.

4. For a more unusual look, you could consider using coloured water. Try contrasting the colour of the water with the colour of the flowers. You could even use goldfish in bowls, although this idea doesn’t go down well with everyone!
